Anyone who knows me knows that I am an animal lover.  I have collected animals since I can remember much to the dismay of my parents who often had to drive me to the nearest vet office to have a critter taken care of.  I find it hard to squish a bug, choosing instead to grab a paper towel to scoop up the unwanted house guest and toss them outside. You will often see me pull over to side of the road to save a turtle from certain death or to untangle a goat who stuck their head through the fence to get that tasty green grass on the other side.

I currently am the proud owner of an ACD (Australian Cattle Dog aka Blue Heeler) named Skooter, a TWH (Tennessee  Walking Horse) named Powder and 2 very special Cats!  This list is pared down from what I have historically owned and it is a constant struggle for me not to bring another mouth home to feed.  My creatures bring great joy to my life and it is hard for me to imagine not having a warm furry body in the house demanding some form of attention from me.

As we all know pets can be expensive especially as they age.  Even young ones have to go to the vet's office for checkups and unexpected emergencies and those cost add up.  So to help minimize and control cost, I suggest that pet owners learn more about Pet Insurance! You will be surprised at how affordable it is when compared to what 1 trip to the emergency vet clinic cost.  Here is a link to get an online quote for your bundle of joy!
